After that, he worked in China Railway Engineering Division of Ministry of Railways. He has been engaged in tunnel engineering and scientific research for 30 years, and promoted to Chief Engineer, Professor of Engineering. He was elected Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995. ....

From 1996 to 1997, he was in the department of Land and Economy of Britain Cambridge University, and got his Master degree in economy.
