The Jiangxi section of Daqing-Guangzhou motorway starts construction now, including 89.3km of Wuning and Xiushui section. The history that Wuning and Xiushui have no motorway has passed. The land acquisition and relocation of residents of the project will begin this month.

The Preliminary Evaluation Meeting of the Feasibility Study of Daqing-Guangzhou Motorway (Wuning-Ji'an section) was held in Nanchang City hosted by Provincial Projects Consultation Centre delegated by Development and Reform Commission of Jiangxi.Having been examined by experts, the basic running route and budgetary investment of Jiangxi section was approved in the meeting. The estimated investment of the Jiangxi section, which is 282.19km long, will be 12.082 billion Yuan, and the average cost of every kilometer of road will be 42.8143 million Yuan. Because the terrain here is very complex and there are lofty and precipitous peaks, a lot of bridges and culverts and tunnels will be built and the investment of each kilometer will exceed the average investment. And the total investment will reachn to 4 billion Yuan. The construction is scheduled to start in December and last for 48 months.
