Among the 11 motorways that plan to invite investment in Shaanxi, the Shiyan-Tianshui line in National Motorway Network will receive the most investment (14.6 billion Yuan) with the longest mileage (258km). As the motorway network of of Shaanxi(the Guanzhong area) has basically formed in recent years, the motorway projects that invite investment are mainly in north and south part of Shaanxi province.
After the completion, the transport road network of these two areas will greatly improved completing the national trunk highways and the programmed western major channel. By then, a motorway network covering 85% of the counties and districts with a total mileage of 3800km will be formed in Shaanxi province.
