Shaanxi Provincial Communication Department and Shaanxi branch of National Development Bank, PRC signed agreements on providing loans of 13.39 billion yuan for 4 motorways in Shaanxi. There are: Shangzhou-Danfeng, Danfeng-ShanYujie (the above two are under construction), Xi'an-Manchuanguan and Ankang-Tiejiangya Motorways which are important channels connecting Xi'an city even Guanzhong area with south part of  Shaanxi province.

Shaanxi will increase the investment in transport infrastructures since the motorway construction need large amount of money. Especially the terrain of south Shaanxi is very complex and the tunnels and road bridges take a great proportion of the construction. Yet, about 110.7 billion Yuan is still in need.
