Two motorways in Jiangsu start construction at the same time in early November. They are Xuyi section of Ning-Su-Xu mtorway and north Yancheng section of Ning-Jin-Yan Motorway.

These two sections are important sections of the main framework of Jiangsu Motorway "Four Verticals, Four Horizontals and Four Connecting Lines". The total investment of Xuyi south section with a total length of 27.3km is about 1.07 billion Yuan and that of north Yancheng section totaling 16.3km is about 0.85 billion Yuan.

After their completion, Ning-Su-Xu and Ning-Huai Motorways and Ning-Jin-Yan Motorway and Motorways along the sea will be joined up therefore, Ning-Su-Xu and Ning-Jin-Yan Motorways could be brought into full play to optimize the structure of motorway network and ensure the smoothness of the motorways in Jiangsu.
