It only takes half an hour to go to Miyun county from downtown area of Beijing when the completion of the second stage of Jingcheng Motorway. According to Miyun county goverment, the second stage of Jingcheng Motorway is scheduled to be completed on 1st,Oct,2006 and the third stage of Jingcheng Motorway(from Shayugou to Simatai) will be commence construction with this year.
Starting from Gaoliying Shunyi district to Shayugou Miyu county, the second stage of Jingcheng Motorway is about 46.7km, passing Shunyi district, Changping district, Huairou district and Miyun county, witb a designed vehicle speed of 120km/h. The completion of the project will contribute to
the development of tourist in Miyun County.
